Croatia, under the leadership of coach Zlatko Dalić, won a direct qualification to the WC in Qatar 2022. Croatia’s WC in Qatar is 12 out of 14 possible major competitions, the sixth in a row, and coach Zlatko Dalić is the only Croatian coach who has taken the Flames to three major competitions, the World Cup in Russia, where they won second place, the European Championship, where they were stopped in the round of 16 and now to the World Championship in Qatar. Croatia will find out their opponents at the WC on April 1, and they will be in the second or third strong group.
