Olympic sports
Olympic sports are sports that have been or will be represented at the Olympic Games and are awarded with medals at the Olympic Games. Currently, 35 sports have the Olympic sports status. A total of 33 sports were represented at the last Winter and Summer Olympics, and two new sports were added to the next Summer Olympics.
The Croatian Olympic Committee unites all national sports federations and sports associations as well as all other associations participating in the development of sports in the Republic of Croatia. HOO is a member of the International Olympic Committee and the founder of the Croatian Olympic Academy.
